What is an Organization? A Guide for Channel Partners

An Organization groups users and systems together within their respective organizations. This makes it easier to manage your customers, users and their systems.

In the new meter.me app, every channel partner (or systems integrator) and customer/end user will have an organization associated with their account and system(s).

To access organizations, systems integrator and end-user must update their smartphone app to the latest version. The web app will be updated automatically.

What’s new?

As a systems integrator, you’ll now be able to create customer organizations and systems within them when you deploy a new meter.me site. Most customers will only have one system under their customer organization.

You and your team will be able to view and manage all of your customer’s organizations and systems without inviting each team member to each individual system.

When you log in, you’ll be able to select your organization:

Once you’ve selected your organization, as a systems integrator, there are several things you can do with the new app:

  1. Create organizations for your customers and invite users to them
  2. Create water systems
  3. Onboard new team members with one invite
  4. View and manage your customers’ organizations
  5. Access new administrative reports
  6. Utilize the enhanced global search
