To troubleshoot your Browan MiniHub meter.base, please follow these instructions:

1. Ensure the meter.base is powered

Please check the device is plugged in.

  • The indicator light on the top of the Browan Minihub will be illuminated when the device is powered (see chart above)
  • The color of the indicator light can help you understand what to do next.

2. Ensure the meter.base is connected to the internet

  • Ensure that your wifi network is active by connecting a phone or laptop to the WiFi network and attempting to browse the internet
  • If you recently changed your WiFi name or password (such as, if you recently replaced your router), the amber light will be fast blinking while attempting to connect to WiFi. To enter the new WiFi network credentials, please follow the steps in Browan MiniHub: How to Connect to Local WiFi

3. Reboot the meter.base

If you have verified in steps 1 and 2 above that your device has power and the internet network is active, and the issue is still not resolved, please reboot your meter.base by following these steps:

  • Unplug from power for 30 seconds and plug back in, being sure NOT to press buttons on the top or bottom of the device while doing so.
  • Wait 2 minutes for your device to fully reboot and reconnect
  • The LED light at the top of the device should show solid green when connected
  • It may take up to 5 minutes for the meter.base to show online in your meter.me app

4. Reconfigure WiFi connection to meter.base

If steps 1-3 have not resolved the issue, or if you need to enter new WiFi credentials, please follow the instructions in Browan MiniHub: How to connect to local WiFi
