If your role on a water system is “owner” or “installer”, you are able to remove other individuals from this water system.
Anyone can remove themselves from a water system with a few exceptions:
- If your role is “owner”, you cannot remove yourself from the system.
- If you are the designated “billing responsible” person on the system, you cannot remove yourself from the system, no matter what your role is.
If either of the above exceptions apply to you, you will receive an error message when attempting to follow the instructions for removing yourself. Please contact support@meter.me directly if you need assistance removing yourself from a water system.
From the mobile app:
- Log in to the mobile app
- Navigate to the system you wish to be removed from
- Select the menu icon in the upper left corner of the app
- Select System Settings
- Select Users
- Find the user in the list you’d like to remove and swipe left on that user
- Select Remove
- Select Confirm
And that’s it! You have successfully removed your user from a water system
From the web app:
- Log in to the web app: web.meter.me
- From the menu on the left-hand side of the page, select the system you wish to be removed from.
- Select Users
- Locate your user email address
- Select the three dots to the right of your user email
- Select Remove
- Select Yes
And that’s it! You have successfully removed your user from a water system
