Before you begin:
Role: Please ensure your user is set up with an “Installer” or “owner” role on the applicable water system. Another user with an “Owner” or “Installer” Role on the system can add you to the system if needed, using the following tutorial.
How to invite a user to a system (via the web app)
- Log in to the meter.me web app: web.meter.me
- Select the applicable water system
- Select Users
- Select Invite User
a. Enter the user’s email
b. Select Next
c. If the user has never been invited to the meter.me app, you will need to enter a name and select a role for the user I.D. If the user has been invited before, you will only be prompted to select a role for that user in this system. - Select Send Invite by Email
That’s it! The user will receive an invitation to download and log in to the app.
If you need to edit or re-send an invite later on:
- Under Users, select Invited
- Select the three dots to the right of the applicable user
Then select Edit or Re-send
