How to set a tank max level (overflow) alert

Sometimes it is helpful to be notified when a monitored tank level goes above a certain point. This is helpful for monitoring a potential overflow condition. In this case, you will want to set up a custom “Tank max level” alert. Alert setup is available only in the mobile app at this time, and here are the instructions:

  1. Log into your meter.me account on your mobile app and select the system that has the tank for which you would like to set an alert
  2. Select “actions” in the lower right. This will allow you to view all existing alerts.
  3. Select the “+” in the upper left to add an alert
  4. Choose the tank for which you would like to be alerted
  5. Choose “Tank max level” - this alert will notify you when the tank goes above a specified level
  6. Select your preferred nudge conditions (behavior if the alert does not recover)
  7. Choose your alert threshold in percentage or volume of tank level.
  8. Choose your delivery preferences (text, email, push)
  9. Save

Your alert is now ready to go!
